What a great week it has been!  I’m settled back into my Columbus life after a long hiatus and things are going really great right now.  I wanted to share some photos I’ve taken with Instagram in the past few weeks.  Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

I was walking up to my apartment after parking my car and I discovered these little succulents right by our garage.  I love thinking about who’s lived here before us and how they planted them.  I also thought it was funny because these little survivors were next to a HUGE weed.  It was really, really big.  Maybe I’ll try to pull it so these babies can breathe!

Here’s a little tip: you can buy an entire carton of chai mix at the grocery store for about the same price as a single chai at a coffee shop.  Way cheaper and equally delicious.  I made this little refresher when I was working from home yesterday afternoon.

I am totally on the braid bandwagon.  I am not at all skilled in anything girly (hair, makeup), but I think with lots of practice, I might be able to nail down the simple french braid.  Baby steps, right?  I’m loving this baseball tee that I picked up at J. Crew, too!  Makes me feel like a total tomboy.  It’s no longer available on their website, but another super cute option would be to buy the boys version!

I created this simple centerpiece for our dining room table.  I got some little white vases and fake flowers from World Market.  Eazy peazy.

Yes.  Perfect for summer.

This little hanging plant made it’s way all the way from Colorado with me.  It was interesting to explain to TSA what this was.

The other night while we were watching the Olympics, I noticed that the whole sky was pink.

Yes, I am one of those people who like to take pictures of their food.  This was really delicious.

New house plants that I’m still trying to figure out where to put.
