I’m currently searching for the perfect pair of black skinny jeans.  I want the kind that look slightly worn in, yet still polished.  I love the way all the lovely ladies below styled their black jeans!

You all know my love of Mother Denim!  I love how this pair is slightly faded.  The Looker in True Hollywood Lies.

Good luck with your search! I’m doing the exact same hunt. I tried Madewell’s skinny skinny ankle jeans and thought I would hit jackpot because I have a lighter blue pair and they fit like a glove, but the black ones fit completely different. I’ve heard good things about Topshop’s Leigh jeans and Baxter jeans. The Mother denim pair look great. I especially like the faded black color.

Thank you so much for the suggestions on some new jean brands! P.S. I’ve totally had that happen before where you buy a different wash of the same pair of jeans and they fit totally different. Bummer. Thanks for stopping by! :)

You bet!! Yeah, I wonder why that happens with the fit and the different washes. I guess I get the concept deep down that the fabric is different, but I still want to stomp my feet whenever it happens.

You have a really wonderful blog! Keep up the great work!
